Step 1 - Discovery CallA focused introductory call to assess your needs and make sure we’re a good fit. Schedule directly through the client portal following completion of our brief initial questionnaire.
Step 2 - OnboardingOnce we're aligned, you'll receive a flat-fee engagement letter with no surprises. We get you set up in our secure, paperless client portal and start requesting additional information to get started.
Step 3 - DocumentsUpload everything securely through your client portal at your own pace. We'll reach out if anything is missing before we begin — no chasing paper or email attachments.
Step 4 - Review & DeliveryWe prepare and review your tax return, summarize the final results and any key tax considerations or planning opportunities, and obtain your approval before filing electronically.
Step 5 - Ongoing SupportLife doesn't pause between tax seasons. Current clients have year-round access to reach out with questions, major decisions, or anything that could affect their tax or financial picture.
Who we are
Thomas Cooper
Thomas started his accounting career with KPMG, one of the Big Four accounting firms, where he specialized in tax compliance and consulting for large businesses and real estate companies. He later joined Maxwell Locke & Ritter, the largest Austin CPA firm, where he expanded his expertise to include small businesses and individuals.
In 2022, Thomas Cooper CPA PLLC was founded to serve the tax and financial needs of the Central Texas area locally, as well as all Texas residents through virtual services.
Outside of the office, Thomas enjoys watching his two daughters play soccer and participate in gymnastics, or you might find him on the golf course.
